Brandi passante gained fame after her appearance on the A&E show 'Storage wars', a reality show that starred Jarrod Schulz. Both received the attention of the public through this series. The show's theme is that the contents of storage units on where rent hasn't been paid in three months are offered for auction. Brandi and Jarrod who run the "Now and Then" thrift shop in Orange, California participated in the auction in hopes to buy some storage units for cheap prices. They didn't realize that the show could turn them into reality TV stars! their store! The show's success was because the couple, whom were extremely polite with their bids throughout the entire episode, became stars. It was their success on reality TV that boosted the business. Apart from operating their shop and operating a second one. A spin-off titled Brandi & Jarrod: Married to the Job was invented following their appearance on Storage Wars.
